Emburse in Barcelona, Catalunya, seeks an experienced SDET to bridge development and QA by designing automated testing frameworks for a large-scale SaaS platform. You’ll help enable CI, improve reliability, and drive quality across releases.

You will define test plans, implement automation for integration and end-to-end tests, and collaborate with engineers, product owners, and QA to deliver high-quality software. Strong Python/Java, Pytest, Selenium skills are required.

Formación

• Proficient in designing and implementing automated tests for SaaS products.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and QA processes.
• Strong scripting in Python/Java and SQL querying.

As an SDET at Emburse, you bridge development and quality assurance by designing robust automated testing frameworks for a large-scale, distributed enterprise SaaS. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA to enable CI and maintain high product quality across releases. Your work directly impacts reliability, performance, and scalability of our expense management platform. This is a chance to shape testing architecture and drive quality in a fast-growing company.

• Define test plans and strategies for features and functionality
• Ensure changes are well-tested and released with high quality
• Perform system and end-to-end testing and coordinate release activities
• Design and implement automation for integration and workflow tests
• Assess load/performance testing needs and create performance tests
• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners and stakeholders to deliver quality
• Participate in peer code reviews to improve test automation architecture
• 4+ years of Testing/Quality Engineering experience in software
• Experience in Scrum/Agile and DevOps environment
• Automated testing with Pytest, Selenium, or similar tools
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming (Python, Java)
• SQL proficiency and ability to write queries
• Experience with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman
• Exposure to load/performance testing and tools
• Experience with front-end and back-end automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Pytest, RestAssured)
• CI/CD and release management tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Gitlab/Github)
