Google is seeking software engineers in Spain to join the Threat Intelligence and Cloud teams. You will design and implement AI-driven security features, work on large-scale systems, and own end-to-end lifecycles from ideation to production.

You will apply expertise in machine learning, distributed computing, and security, collaborating across teams and mentoring juniors. Strong knowledge of Vertex AI, ML infrastructure, and model deployment is valued in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with Vertex AI and AI Platform.
• 2 years of experience with Python or Go, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year with speech/audio, RL, ML infrastructure, or related ML field.
• 1 year with ML infrastructure including deployment, evaluation, or data processing.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement features for medium-to-large projects with independent priorities.
• Research and implement AI-driven security solutions using LLMs for various use cases.
• Architect and deploy autonomous AI agents for malware analysis, threat hunting, or incident response.
• Own AI-powered features from ideation to production, monitoring, and improvement.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and uphold engineering standards.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with Vertex AI and AI Platform.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Python or Go, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in the cybersecurity domain, particularly with malware analysis, threat hunting, or digital risk protection.

Spain: €70000 - €71500 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

• Design and implement complex features for medium-to-large projects, managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently.
• Research, design, and implement AI-driven solutions leveraging large language models for various security-related use cases.
• Architect and deploy autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents capable of performing complex tasks, such as automated malware analysis, threat hunting, or incident response support.
• Own the entire life-cycle of AI-powered features, from ideation and prototyping to production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and contribute to the team's engineering standards and best practices.
