Ookla, an Accenture company, seeks a Software Engineer to join a squad-focused team building next-generation data visualization platforms. You’ll develop scalable web applications with React, Redux Toolkit, and Vite, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features for enterprise products that visualize data and enable actionable insights.

You will write clean code, participate in code reviews, design RESTful APIs with Node.js, and embrace CI/CD practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficient in React, Redux Toolkit, and Vite with hands-on experience building complex web applications.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies.
• Some experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using Node.js or other backend technologies.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in writing automated tests and understanding/recommending testing strategies; Vitest, RTL experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, algorithmic, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using React, Redux (RTK Toolkit), and Vite.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement new features for data visualization platforms and portals.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and adhere to best practices in software development.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality.
• Help develop, maintain and test RESTful APIs for data processing and handling.
• Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
• Eye for detail and fine points that impact user experience.
• Harness AI tooling for speeding up development while maintaining human oversight.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in full-stack web development and apply them to our stack.
