K2 Partnering Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer for a hybrid role based in Barcelona or remote from Spain. You will build a cloud-based Data & AI platform and help define its architecture and API layer.

The ideal candidate has strong Go experience, Kubernetes and cloud-native skills, plus a passion for distributed systems and REST API design. You’ll evaluate open-source tech and contribute to data/AI initiatives while solving production challenges.

Formación

• Strong hands-on experience with Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Software engineering mindset with interest in architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Curiosity for new technologies, particularly around Data, BI and AI.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, Airflow or Dremio is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve a cloud-based Data & AI platform from an engineering perspective.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the platform.
• Evaluate and integrate relevant open-source technologies.
• Design and develop REST APIs used to manage cloud services and their lifecycle.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators to automate service deployment and lifecycle management.
• Investigate complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust long-term solutions.

• Role: Software Engineer
• Contract: permanent and direct with the client
• Location: hybrid in Barcelona or remote from Spain
• Salary: starting from 55K, depending on experience
