Job summary

Hyqoo is seeking a Software Engineer / Python Developer for a contract, remote role. You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Python applications and backend solutions, with emphasis on clean code and maintainability.

You will work across product and engineering teams to transform business requirements into robust technical solutions, contribute to product roadmap decisions, and leverage cloud services, containers, and modern data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• Strong professional experience with Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Django or Flask.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Kedro and Databricks for data workflows.
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow an iterative development approach, experiment with new ideas, and continuously improve engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support applications through deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
