Job summary

Ashby is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join its fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems powering innovative products, collaborating with a talented team on architecture and lifecycle delivery.

We value a proactive problem-solver with strong backend knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent remote communication. Occasional travel for team meetups is possible, with a flexible remote work setup including Córdoba region

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and/or MongoDB.
• Strong RESTful API design understanding.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication in remote settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend software.
