Solera, Sevilla, is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead multiple squads of software engineers. You will guide architecture, design, and delivery of scalable web and enterprise applications in an Agile setting, mentoring teams and ensuring on-time delivery of high‑quality software.

You will define objectives, coach engineers, and drive improvements across processes and technologies to support Solera's growing business.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on Software Development life cycle experience including coding and production issue resolution.
• Minimum 3 years in Management/Technical Lead roles.
• Strong knowledge of Java, REST and SOAP, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Agile environments.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and workflows.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and Microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, NoSQL and Oracle databases.
• API design experience.
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development and Business-Driven Design.
• Experience building middleware with cloud-hosted applications and web-scale performance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multiple software development squads toward optimal technical solutions.
• Define expectations and metrics to monitor results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical impediments for teams.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the squad.
• Coach and provide feedback to team members.
• Coordinate with Architecture, PM, Agile and Design Teams on designs.
• Suggest process and tech improvements.
• Translate system requirements into actionable tasks.
• Identify and fix code smells and bottlenecks.
• Maintain code quality and architecture; perform code reviews.
• Oversee deployments and CI/CD pipelines across teams.
