Adobe Commerce seeks a Junior Software Engineer to join the team powering the ACCS control plane. You’ll work on building and maintaining the provisioning UI and backend, with hybrid in-office time in Barcelona.

You’ll collaborate across components, contribute ideas, and grow into DevOps and cloud responsibilities as the platform scales. English communication is essential for daily teamwork.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Write real code that ships, tackling small-to-medium features and tasks with the freedom to debug and problem-solve on your own.
• Help shape how things get built, contributing your ideas at the component level and learning to spot where common design patterns fit.
• Solve real issues, debugging across components to build a bigger-picture understanding of how the whole system fits together.
• Take part in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback, as a normal part of how the team grows together.
• Deploy your own work and see it through, checking that what you built actually works the way it should.
• Use AI-assisted tools as part of your everyday workflow to move faster and focus your energy on the interesting problems.
• Work in a Lean-Agile way, with short cycles and tight feedback loops, while keeping your work aligned with Adobe's Security and Compliance standards.
• Work mostly independently, with regular support from your manager and team, and start building your voice by sharing what you learn along the way.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join the team behind the control plane of Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service — the engine that runs the platform itself. This team owns the infrastructure, and the systems that provision and manage every merchant tenant on Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service. In other words: you won't just be building features in the platform, you'll be helping build the platform. This is foundational, high-impact work. Every merchant that runs on ACCS depends on what this team ships, so we'll be solving real distributed-systems and infrastructure problems early on, with plenty of room to grow as the platform grows. The team is based in Barcelona, working a hybrid schedule (50% in-office).

What You Need To Succeed

• Curiosity about DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure. No deep expertise needed on day one, since you'll grow into that side of things as you go
• Some familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, or genuine interest in learning them
• Fluent English and strong communication skills, since you'll be collaborating closely with the team every day

Are a Plus

Commerce Domain

• Previous experience in eCommerce, since that's the space we operate in every day
• Experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento Open Source

Platform & infrastructure

• Experience with Kubernetes (k8s)
• Hands-on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider
• Experience with observability platforms, like Grafana
• Experience with multi-tenant or SaaS platform architecture
