Hornetsecurity is seeking a Windows-focused software engineer to develop and maintain client components of our endpoint protection products. You will architect and implement features using C#/.NET Core and Delphi, working on desktop applications across global users. Strong Windows knowledge and crash-dump analysis experience are essential.

Fluent English communication is required. You will join a growing cybersecurity team with flexible, home-office options and long-term growth opportunities

Formación

• 3+ years of C#/.NET Core desktop app development.
• 3+ years of Delphi desktop app development.
• Strong knowledge of Windows architecture and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with crash dump analysis.
• Proficiency with common source control systems.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Create, improve and maintain business logic and UI components of Hornetsecurity endpoint protection products for Windows.
• Architect, develop and maintain client software modules; write code, debug, test and document.
• Produce design specifications from PM input and stakeholder feedback; contribute to installation and maintenance procedures.

Your Job

You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining business logic and UI parts of the Hornetsecurity endpoint protection products that help users around the world to remove malware from their systems and stay protected. This role is specifically dedicated to Windows OS development. Primary responsibility is focused on architecture, development and maintenance related to new and existing Hornetsecurity client software components. This involves everything from minor code changes to design of new modules, including writing code, debugging, testing, and documentation. Ability to develop written design specifications from project management input, discussions with key team members and customer feedback. Complete documentation and provide input to improve procedures for installation, development and maintenance processes.

Your Profile

• Strong background in C#/.net Core development for desktop applications (3+ years).
• Knowledge of other programming languages is a major plus.
• Strong background in Delphi development for desktop applications (3+ years).
• Solid knowledge of Windows architecture.
• Hands on experience in crash dump analysis.
• Knowledge of common source control systems.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
