Hornetsecurity is seeking a Windows OS focused developer to create, improve, and maintain the client software components of our endpoint protection products. You will design and implement features, debug, test, and document work while developing written design specifications from project input.

The role emphasizes architecture, development, and maintenance with strong Windows platform knowledge and English communication skills, offering opportunities for growth in a cybersecurity environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of C#/.NET Core desktop development experience.
• 3+ years of Delphi desktop development experience.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Solid knowledge of Windows architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Create, improve and maintain business logic and UI for Hornetsecurity endpoint protection products, focused on Windows OS.
• Architect, develop and maintain client software components; perform debugging, testing and documentation.
• Write design specifications from PM input and customer feedback, and contribute to installation and maintenance procedures.

Your Job

You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining business logic and UI parts of the Hornetsecurity endpoint protection products that help users around the world to remove malware from their systems and stay protected. This role is specifically dedicated to Windows OS development. Primary responsibility is focused on architecture, development and maintenance related to new and existing Hornetsecurity client software components. This involves everything from minor code changes to design of new modules, including writing code, debugging, testing, and documentation. Ability to develop written design specifications from project management input, discussions with key team members and customer feedback. Complete documentation and provide input to improve procedures for installation, development and maintenance processes.

Your Profile

• Strong background in C#/.net Core development for desktop applications (3+ years).
• Knowledge of other programming languages is a major plus.
• Strong background in Delphi development for desktop applications (3+ years).
• Solid knowledge of Windows architecture.
• Hands on experience in crash dump analysis.
• Knowledge of common source control systems.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
