Fundació / Fundación in Inca, Mallorca, is seeking a Social Mediator to support migrant youth with intercultural mediation on a permanent, full-time basis. You will guide young people as they adapt to life on the island and connect them with essential services.

The role requires a university degree in a social/educational field, language skills (French or Arabic at B2, or Bambara/Wolof), and a valid Class B license. A permanent contract with rotating shifts is offered, starting Sept 21, 2026.

Position Overview

Are you passionate about community support and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? A foundation in Inca, Mallorca is currently looking for a dedicated Social Mediator to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will provide vital guidance and intercultural mediation to support migrant youth as they adapt to their new environment on the island.

Core responsibilities

• Facilitate integration, communication, and peaceful coexistence for migrant minors.
• Support youth directly in their personal adaptation and day-to-day integration process.
• Help beneficiaries access essential social resources, public services, and educational programs across Mallorca.
• Serve as an empathetic bridge between minors, social entities, and the local community.

Requirements

• A completed university degree (second cycle or bachelor's degree in a social or educational field, or combined with specific mediation or language qualifications).
• Professional language proficiency in French (B2) or Arabic (B2), or fluency in Bambara or Wolof.
• A valid Class B driving licence.
• Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills.

Benefits and Employment Details

• A permanent full-time employment contract.
• A gross annual salary of 28,700 EUR.
• Additional night shift allowance paid separately.
• A rotating shift schedule that includes mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
• Expected start date on September 21, 2026.
