EY GDS Spain in Malaga is seeking a Senior SOC Team Coordinator to own operational coordination within a 24x7 Security Operations Center. You will guide the SOC team and support delivery of cybersecurity services for German-speaking and international clients.

The role requires strong incident management understanding, cross-cultural communication, and the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders while maintaining high service quality in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent German language skills at C1 level or higher.

• Knowledge of IT Security and Cyber Security principles.
• Understanding of Security Incident Management processes.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or IBM QRadar.
• Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or comparable platforms.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily activities within a 24x7 Security Operations Center.

• Collaborate with customers, service managers, technical teams, and international cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Support reporting, quality assurance, audit-related activities, and service review preparation.

This senior position is intended for a candidate who can take ownership of operational coordination, provide guidance within the SOC team, and support the effective delivery of cybersecurity services in a 24x7 operational environment for German-speaking and international clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities within a 24x7 Security Operations Center.
• Monitor security incident handling, ticket queues, and escalation activities.
• Support the coordination of major incidents and critical security events.
• Ensure smooth shift handovers and clear operational communication.
• Support SOC analysts in day-to-day operational questions and prioritization.
• Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of SOC processes, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, at C1 level or higher.
• Good English communication skills for collaboration in a global environment.
• Knowledge of IT Security and Cyber Security principles.
• Understanding of Security Incident Management processes.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or IBM QRadar.
• Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or comparable platforms.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Awareness of cloud security concepts for Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Basic understanding of threat detection, incident response, ITIL, or security certifications such as SC-200 or CompTIA Security+.
