Cyberdefence is seeking a motivated SOC Analyst Level 1 to join our SOC team in Spain. You will monitor, analyse, and respond to security events in real time as the first line of defence, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes incident triage, collaboration with the SOC, and ongoing threat detection improvements. A 24/7 work mindset and strong communication are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Solid understanding of security principles, networking, and operating systems.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Bash) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyse security alerts from SIEM and other tools to identify threats.
• Perform initial triage and escalate incidents by severity.
• Investigate suspicious activity and respond to incidents promptly.
• Document incidents with detailed reporting for follow-up analysis.
• Collaborate with SOC to improve detection and security posture.
• Contribute to incident response playbooks and procedures.
• Assist with vulnerability management and threat hunting.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and trends.
