DWS Group in Madrid is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, build and improve a cloud-based data platform, focused on Snowflake and the modern data stack.

You will collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into scalable solutions, build data ingestion and transformation components, and maintain IaC with Terraform. Fluency in English is required for this global role, with hybrid work options in Madrid.

Formación

• Three+ years of experience in platform or data engineering.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake and modern data stack.
• Proficiency with Terraform, dbt, Airflow and related tooling.
• Excellent Python and Java programming skills.
• Experience with SDLC tools including Git, JIRA, Artifactory and Github.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and ensure responsible use of data.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to end-to-end architecture and design of cloud data platform components.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into user stories and designs.
• Design and develop reusable data ingestion, transformation and distribution components.
• Build and maintain infrastructure components using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Collaborate with architects, security and other stakeholders to strengthen regulatory compliance and platform reliability.
• Work with product owner to translate product vision into implementations.
