Job summary

FUNDACIO INSTITU DE RECERCA EN ENERGIA DE CATALUNYA is inviting applications for a Project Engineer (R1) to develop and program tools aimed at boosting smart grid intelligence. The role includes experimental work in IREC labs and collaboration on data management, AI and cybersecurity topics.

The position offers a project-related contract with potential extension, with salaries aligned to IREC’s policy based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in computer Science, industrial engineering, Telecos engineering or related.
• Interest in energy and smart grid issues.
• Knowledge/experience with network management.
• Experience with Docker, Airflow, Python, Java, databases and Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program tools to increase smart grid intelligence.
• Carry out experimental activities and lab setups at IREC facilities.
