Henkel is seeking a supply chain planning professional in Barcelona to translate production plans into mid-long term material requirements and maintain MRP parameters. You will collaborate with suppliers for capacity planning, monitor inventory, and support process improvements to optimize material ordering and reduce obsolescence.

Requirements include a Bachelor/Master in a relevant field, 1–2 years in supply chain, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or Business Administration.
• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience working in a virtual environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Translates the production plan into a mid-long term Material Requirements Plan to ensure material availability.
• Maintains MRP parameters and addresses exceptions per the production plan.
• Collaborates with suppliers for Rough Cut Capacity Planning to balance cost and supply.
• Assists in material inventory analysis and tracks slow-movers and obsoletes.
• Maintains manufacturing parameters to support planning efficiency.
• Escalates material sourcing risks or opportunities to stakeholders.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives in material planning processes.
• Ensures accurate material ordering in quantity and timing, optimizing order size.

What you´ll do

• Assists in translating the production plan into a mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring material availability based on forecasts.
• Maintains MRP parameters, consolidates cross-category needs, and addresses MRP exceptions aligned with the production plan.
• Collaborates with suppliers to support Rough Cut Capacity Planning for material requirements, balancing cost and supply needs.
• Assists in material inventory analysis, reviewing policies, tracking slow-movers, and managing obsoletes.
• Maintains manufacturing parameters to support material planning efficiency.
• Identifies and escalates material sourcing risks or opportunities to relevant internal or external stakeholders.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and performance.
• Ensures accurate material ordering in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size while minimizing obsoletes.

  Administration
• 1-2 years of experience as intern or employee in supply chain management
• Business fluent English and Spanish is required
• Good communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at different
  levels of organization
• Ability to work in virtual environment
• Open-minded and flexible, ready for changes of planning portfolio
• Strong analytical skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Basic knowledge of MRP planning is an advantage
