Job summary

Nayak Group, a leading European MRO, is recruiting a Sheet Metal Worker for our Barcelona station. You will support certified personnel in preventive and curative maintenance, focusing on sheet metal components across aircraft structures.

The role requires handling fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair tasks while following MOE procedures and customer specifications. We offer a permanent, full-time contract and rotating 6-on/4-off shifts in a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• High school leaving certificate / Diploma.
• Courses and training that accredit formations in the field.
• EWIS, FTS and HF current; ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing, assembling, installing and repairing sheet metal components used in aircraft and aerospace equipment.
• Guarantee the structural integrity and safety of the aircraft; work on metal parts that make up the structure.
• Sheet metal fabrication: cutting, shaping, and molding sheet metal using various tools to create aircraft components according to plans and engineering specifications.
• Reading and interpretation of aircraft plans.
• Follow MOE procedures and customer procedures during maintenance tasks.

For our station in BCN - Spain, we are currently looking for: Sheet Metal Worker

Details

• Shift Schedule: Rotating 6-on / 4-off shifts
• Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Role Purpose

• Support certified personnel in the preventive and curative maintenance of aircraft, verifying the correct operation in accordance with the regulations of both the aeronautical authorities and manufacturers.

Key Responsabilities

• In collaboration with certified personnel: Responsible for manufacturing, assembling, installing and repairing sheet metal components used in aircraft and aerospace equipment.
• Guarantee the structural integrity and safety of the aircraft, work on metal parts that make up the structure, wings, control surfaces and other essential components of the aircraft.
• Sheet Metal Fabrication: Cutting, shaping, and molding sheet metal using various tools and equipment, such as shears, brakes, rollers, and specialized machinery, to create aircraft components. according to plans and engineering specifications
• Reading and interpretation of aircraft plans
• Follow company MOE procedures and customer procedures during assigned maintenance task.
