Job summary

SIX CSD Services Unit in Madrid is seeking a Settlement Services Intern to support daily settlement operations and analytics. You will work on dashboards, reports, and assist in settlement projects while engaging with internal partners.

This role is designed for a bachelor or master student in business, economics or finance, with strong organization, teamwork, and English/Spanish communication. The internship offers flexible work models at our Las Rozas office.

Our settlement team, responsible for Settlement in the Domestic markets and relationship with European Central Bank, is looking for a student with excellent organizational skills and an interest in the financial industry, to make an exciting internship in the SIX CSD Services Unit. We are looking for a bright and dedicated team player to join SIX and BME for a minimum of six-months for an internship, in which you will be providing hands‑on support to manage the running business of settlement, also working closely with our internal partners and stakeholders which will enable you to build up a broad network. The role will be based at our Las Rozas office.

What You Will Do

• create dashboards and reports to support analysis
• support SIX participants in their day‑to‑day business
• assist in various settlement related projects
• provide ad hoc support to the product management and evolutive and governance teams

What You Bring

• you are studying a bachelor or master’s degree related to Business administration, economics, finance, etc. Knowledge of financial markets will be also a plus, but is not mandatory
• ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with excellent organizational skills
• willingness to collaborate and work autonomously, paired with good time management skills
• strong teamwork mindset with motivation and continuous learning curiosity
• strong analytical skills with an eye for details
• good verbal and written skills in English and Spanish (B2 minimum)
