Danfoss Drives Iberia is seeking a Service Engineer to join the Technical Department in Iberia. The role focuses on providing technical support for Danfoss drive solutions across the product lifecycle, from commissioning and troubleshooting to training and guidance for customers and partners.

The ideal candidate has a technical background in industrial automation, experience with AC Drives and power electronics, and a strong customer‑oriented mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in AC Drives, power electronics, or industrial automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and practical problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent communication and a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus; willing to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to customers, partners and internal teams for Danfoss drive solutions.
• Assist with commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of AC Drives on-site and remotely.
• Support technical projects, drive selection and solution development per customer requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and partners.
• Collaborate with service, sales and technical teams to ensure high quality support and continuous improvement.

Within Danfoss Drives, we are looking for a Service Engineer to join our Technical Department in Iberia. The role is responsible for providing technical support for Danfoss drive solutions, supporting customers and partners throughout the product lifecycle, from commissioning and troubleshooting to technical guidance and training activities. The ideal profile is a technically oriented engineer with experience in AC Drives, power electronics, or industrial automation. You enjoy solving technical challenges, interacting with customers, and working in a collaborative environment where your expertise contributes to delivering reliable solutions and excellent customer experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams, assisting with troubleshooting and application-related questions.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities for AC Drives and related solutions, both remotely and on-site.
• Assist with technical projects, drive selection, and solution development according to customer requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and partners, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Collaborate with service, sales, and technical teams to ensure high-quality support, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent technical education.
• Previous experience in AC Drives, power electronics, industrial automation, or related technical fields.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and partners.
• Fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus. Availability to travel when required.
