Job summary

eDreams ODIGEO is seeking an experienced SEO Strategist to join our Marketing team in Barcelona, Spain. You will help drive scalable SEO growth across international markets by refining on-page, offsite, and content strategies, and by leveraging AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities include leading technical SEO initiatives, analyzing traffic and conversions, collaborating with product, content, and front-end teams, and evaluating opportunities against ROI. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SEO experience in large e-commerce organizations (travel industry experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for large datasets and prioritization.
• Familiarity with automation/script for SEO analysis is a plus.
• English with full professional proficiency; additional European languages are a plus.

What you will do

The Role’s Key Responsibilities

• Support the definition and execution of the broader SEO strategy, proposing key initiatives and measuring their impact.
• Identify growth opportunities across page performance, keyword targeting, and on-page optimization.
• Drive SEO initiatives across onsite, offsite, and content strategies.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives through log analysis, site crawls, and continuous performance monitoring (crawling, indexation, rendering).
• Perform granular traffic and conversion analysis across multiple international markets to assess keyword and landing-page performance.
• Leverage AI-driven tools and workflows to improve the efficiency and scalability of day-to-day SEO operations
• Collaborate with product development teams by providing key SEO insights and requirements, identifying experiments to test new strategies and opportunities for growth.
• Analyze competitor strategies and benchmark eDreams ODIGEO’s portfolio performance against key competitors.
• Support Content, Front-End Engineering, and Creative teams to align SEO recommendations with ongoing initiatives.

What you need to succeed

Good to have

• 4+ years of SEO experience, preferably in large e-commerce organizations (travel industry experience is a plus)
• Excellent understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools such as SemRush/Ahref/ScreamingFrog, etc.
• Understanding of technical SEO (crawling, indexing, rendering, internal linking, JS crawlability & indexation, etc.)
• Proven ability to work with large SEO datasets in Excel and Google Sheets, mastering common formulas and workflows to support analysis, prioritization, and decision-making at scale.
• Familiarity with automation or scripting for SEO analysis (e.g. Google Sheets automation, Apps Script, Python, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience using generative AI tools or APIs to support SEO analysis, automation, or content workflows is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and routine work to maximize results
• Ability to prioritize initiatives, executions, and Issues based on ROIs & effort
• Analyzing on-page and off-page optimization and recommending future strategies
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to coordinate SEO initiatives and efforts across the organization
• Results-oriented and fact/data-based decision-making skills
• Team player, proactive, motivated, curious, determined, and can-do attitude.
• Languages: English: full professional proficiency (spoken & written) mandatory
• Other major European languages are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
• Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows.
• AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development processes, and enhance productivity.
• Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
• Collaboration with AI: Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as “pair programmers” to complement traditional software development practices.
