Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a driven Engineering Project Manager to join our Water team in Madrid (also Seville and Barcelona). This permanent, full-time, on-site role involves leading a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver water infrastructure projects, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

• Experience in clean potable water pipeline design and/or wastewater network design and/or treatment works.
• Proven project management capability in multidisciplinary water engineering projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for technical discussions and reports.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of technical specialists to deliver water projects.
• Coordinate project teams from design through implementation and handover.
• Manage client interface, contracts, and cost control; ensure technical quality assurance.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to business development.
