King is seeking a Senior Unity Developer in Barcelona to join the Catalog Games team. You will maintain a Unity-based title and explore migrating existing C++/custom engine games into Unity, collaborating with engineers to understand the codebase and shape future Unity projects.

You will lead architectural decisions, write clean code, and work with designers, artists, producers, and QA to deliver high-quality experiences while managing tech debt and live issues.

Formación

• Extensive Unity and C# software development experience.
• Strong architectural knowledge and quick adaptation to new codebases.
• Experience creating and supporting tools in game development; mobile know-how.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Unity Developer to join the Catalog Games - a lean team at King that manages nine games, soon to be ten. As part of a Unity sub-team, you’ll maintain our newly acquired Unity title and explore how we can migrate existing C++/custom engine games into Unity. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineers to understand the current codebase and play a critical role in the architecture of future Unity projects. Together with designers, artists, and producers, you'll drive both technical evolution and great player experiences.

• Experience creating and supporting tools in game development, along with mobile development expertise and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across design, art, and multidisciplinary teams.
• You’re quick to learn and adapt to new workflows and tools, and you’re open to leveraging AI technology to enhance your daily work.
• You are keen to grow and develop yourself and you are good at giving and receiving feedback.
