David Kennedy Recruitment is seeking a Trust & Safety Product Manager for a fast-growing AI tech company. The role is remote, EU-based, and focused on safety and regulatory compliance for a large consumer product with adult content.

This B2B contract offers a high-impact position overseeing moderation, age checks, and risk trade-offs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management, strong judgment on safety/regulatory trade-offs, and a solid grasp of safety systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with proven ownership.
• Strong safety and regulatory judgement with concrete trade-off examples.
• Solid technical understanding of safety systems, including thresholds and human review.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver safety and compliance features on the product, working directly with engineers.
• Drive the product roadmap for AI moderation, age checks and red teaming.
• Make and own safety and regulatory trade-offs, balancing user safety, compliance and product impact.
• Define detection thresholds, manage false positives and shape human review processes.
• Work closely with the CTO, Legal & Safety Lead and Product Lead.
• Review reports that may include disturbing or illegal content.
