Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products is implementing Digital solutions like Digital Passport System (DPS) & Digital Factory to become its global solution for global traceability, from suppliers to end-customers. DPS is a cloud-based platform that attaches unique digital identity and critical quality information to each of our products and allows immediate end-to-end identification and location of affected units if quality issues were detected. For our team, based in Spain, we are looking for experienced Testing Analyst who will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and efficient IT solutions that support our business objectives.
Lead or participate in the full lifecycle of IT projects, from requirements gathering and analysis to design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Analyze complex technical problems and propose innovative and effective solutions, considering both immediate needs and long-term scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT specialists, and external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, architectural diagrams, and operational procedures. Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting for critical IT systems and applications. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the IT landscape. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend and implement relevant solutions. Mentor junior IT professionals and share knowledge to foster a continuous learning environment.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven track record of significant experience (typically 5+ years) in various IT disciplines, such as software development, system administration, network engineering, cybersecurity, data management, or cloud platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and/or significant experience with relevant IT infrastructure technologies (e.g., Windows/Linux servers, networking protocols, virtualization, cloud platforms like Azure/AWS/GCP). Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
