Omada Identity is seeking a senior SDET to join a newly formed Non-Human Identity engineering team. You will design automation platforms and CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, secure, and scalable releases across multi-tenant environments.

As a founding member, you will shape test strategy, tooling, and practices, collaborating closely with software engineers, Product Owners and the Engineering Manager to deliver measurable adoption and reliability improvements.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation or SDET roles.
• Experience building automated testing frameworks, not only maintaining them.
• Experience testing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with modern frontend test automation (Playwright).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native apps.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

About the team and the mission

You will join a newly established team built to own Omada's Non-Human Identity product line. NHIs — agentic AI identities, machine identities, service accounts, and workloads — now outnumber humans 144:1 in modern enterprises and are growing roughly 44% per year. Governing them is becoming a deal-blocker in competitive evaluations. Omada has a working prototype already in customer hands.

Your mission is to turn that prototype into a product that customers adopt, renew, and expand. That means getting to production-grade — secure, scalable, multi-tenant, CI/CD-managed — and then building the evidence that the market wants: adoption data, customer outcomes, and pipeline influence.

We work in a fully agentic SDLC. AI-assisted development is the default working mode across the team, end to end. Stories, design, implementation, review, and testing all leverage AI agents. We expect candidates to bring real experience with agentic development, not just curiosity.

This is a foundational opportunity. You will join early enough to shape the team, the technical direction, and the working practices that will scale with the product.

About the role

You'll become one of the founding members of our new Non-Human Identity engineering team. Rather than maintaining manual test cases, you'll design and implement the automated qualiy platform that enables fast, reliable delivery. You'll work closely with software engineers, Product Owners and Engineering Manager to define strategy, build automation frameworks, improve CI/CD pipelines and ensure every release meets the security, scalability and reliability standards expected from an enterprise identity platform. Quality is a shared responsibility across the team, and you'll be the engineering expert helping us make automated testing a competitive advantage.

What you'll do

• Design and build automated testing frameworks for backend services, frontend applications and APIs
• Develop end-to-end automated test suites covering critical customer journeys
• Build intergration and contract tests for indentity provider integrations and external APIs
• Automate regression testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Develop performance, load and reliability testing strategies
• Validate multi-tenant behaviour, tenant isolation and deployment automation
• Design automated security validation together with engineering teams
• Improve test reporting, observability and release confidence
• Collaborate with engineers during feature development to ensure testability by design
• Investigate production issues and strenghten automated test coverage to prevent regressions
• Evaluate AI-assisted testing techniques and help integrate then into our engineering workflows
• Continuously improve engineering quality metrics and release processes.

What we're looking for

Required

• 6+ years of experience in software test automation or Software Development Engineer in Test roles
• Experience building automated testing frameworks rather than only maintaining them
• Experience testing REST APIs and distributed systems
• Experience with modern frontend test automation (Playwright)
• Experience with backend integration testing
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing cloud-native applications
• Strong understanding of testing strategies across unit, integration, end-to-end and performance testing
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills
• Strong written and spoken English
