Job summary

KPS Iberia in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Senior Tech Lead / Full-Stack & DevOps Engineer to own complex digital and e-commerce platforms for major international clients. This hands-on leadership role combines architecture, technical project leadership and hands-on engineering.

You will guide technical decisions, coordinate developers, and ensure high engineering quality while working in an international, agile environment with a hybrid model (four remote days and one day in the office

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in technical leadership roles (Architect / Tech Lead).
• Strong frontend expertise with JavaScript, Node.js and React.
• Backend development experience, ideally Java.
• Experience with Cloud systems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on mentality contributing to technical solutions.
• Good understanding of DevOps and modern software delivery (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, CI/CD).
• Experience coordinating developers in international environments.
• Strong English communication.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tech Lead / Full-Stack & DevOps Engineer to join KPS Iberia and work on complex, end-to-end digital and e-commerce platforms for major international clients.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership role. We are looking for someone who combines strong software engineering expertise with proven experience leading and coordinating developers, driving technical execution and ensuring successful delivery.

The role combines architecture, technical project leadership and hands‑on engineering. You will work closely with developers, guide technical decisions, and actively contribute to the implementation of technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as an Architect, Senior Architect, Tech Lead or in a comparable technical leadership role.
• Very strong frontend expertise, particularly with JavaScript, Node.js and React.
• Experience in backend development, ideally with Java.
• Ability to understand, assess and further develop software/system architectures.
• Solid experience with Cloud Systems (AWS, Azure and/or GCP).
• A strong hands‑on mentality and willingness to actively contribute to technical solutions.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and modern software delivery processes (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi or similar, CI/CD pipelining etc.).
• Experience coordinating developers and leading technical workstreams ideally in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, as our projects are international and conducted in English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of container technologies and modern deployment processes.
• Experience in complex e-commerce, SaaS or digital platform environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted development, agentic coding or modern AI engineering tools.
• Good knowledge of security best practices, IAM, secrets management and OWASP principles.
