GMV seeks a Senior Systems Engineer / IV&V Lead for space missions to steer design, integration and validation of advanced ground segment architectures. You will lead systems engineering activities, translate requirements, maintain documentation and represent GMV in high-level meetings.

The role requires Linux, scripting and system-level configuration expertise, and offers hybrid work with international mobility and relocation support.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will face the challenge ofdriving the design, integration and system-level validation of complex, distributed ground segment architecturesthat support cutting‑edge space missions in the NewSpace and institutional fields. You will contribute your engineering vision, leadership and rigour to ensure that all systems and subsystems merge seamlessly into a coherent, high-performance end‑to‑end solution. You will be responsible for: Leading systems engineering, integration and IV&V activitiesTranslating customer needs into clear and traceable requirements and architecturesManaging and maintaining system documentationRepresenting GMV in high-level meetings and reviewsContributing to new business initiativesParticipating in the design and implementation of advanced ground segment infrastructures for space missions, both bare metal and cloud-based. Ensuring the technical integration and performance verification of complex ground architectures in demanding operational environments.
