Workato is seeking an exceptional System Architect to lead the design and evolution of our platform architecture. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in secure, scalable systems and influencing architectural decisions across the entire platform.

You will design microservices, produce production-ready designs in Golang, govern security and reliability, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, security, SRE, and infra teams to set platform standards.

Formación

• 8+ years building scalable distributed systems
• 3+ years in System/Platform Architect roles
• Proven hands-on Golang coding experience and production-quality code

Responsabilidades

• Design microservices and platform features from concept to production-ready specifications (Golang)
• Architect secure, fault-tolerant systems with automated failover and end-to-end encryption
• Review and approve architectural designs and lead cross-team decision-making
• Mentor engineers on architectural best practices and cost analysis
• Write ADRs, runbooks, and API specifications; design zero-downtime migrations
