Job summary

AECOM's Madrid-based B+P Sustainable Design Team is seeking a technical leader to deliver sustainability, decarbonisation, and net-zero strategies for major projects. Based in Madrid, you will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, helping clients achieve ambitious goals while supporting growth of our Sustainable Design practice.

Qualifications

Education Degree in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability or related field.
Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Design, Building Physics, or similar preferred.
8-10+ years in sustainable design or environmental consultancy.
Experience leading sustainability strategies across complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead development of sustainability, decarbonisation, and net-zero strategies for major projects.
Provide environmental analysis, building performance modelling, and LCA work.
Guide multidisciplinary teams from concept to delivery with data-driven design.
Manage sustainability workstreams, budgets, QA, and client relationships.
Prepare and review technical reports, sustainability strategies, and proposals.
Mentor colleagues and contribute to business development activities.
