Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Structural Stress & Fatigue Specialist (Metal & Composites) to join the Structural Stress Analysis Team. The role covers sizing, verification, and ensuring the structural integrity and damage tolerance of aerospace components.

The candidate will perform structural analysis during design phases, conduct trade-off analyses, define configurations, and support certification processes, with emphasis on metallic and composite materials and

Qualifications

University Aeronautical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
5–10 years of experience in structural analysis of airframe components.
Experience with stress tools (FEM and SW packages).

Responsibilities

Structural analysis during design across conceptual design, definition, development and modifications phases.
Trade-off analysis for different design solutions.
Sizing of the structural components, parts and assemblies.
Support of the Mechanical System installation design office.
Definition of structural genera/detailed arrangements.
Selection of manufacturing technologies, materials and standards during sizing.
Structural test definition, test support and assessment of results.
