Job summary

TK Elevator's TK Airport Solutions unit in Mieres (Asturias) is seeking a procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing for airport mobility equipment. The role emphasizes global supplier relationships, negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related technical field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement within technical or industrial environments.
• Proven track record developing and managing international supplier relationships, including negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and translate them into sourcing decisions.
• Experience leading or coordinating teams, with ability to develop people and collaborate across a matrix structure.
• Ability to work closely with engineering and production teams, aligning internal requirements with market offerings.
• Solid skills in purchasing reporting and budget/spend analysis.
• Familiarity with supplier quality processes (corrective actions, audits).
• High level of English (B2/C1 minimum) essential for international supplier and team interaction.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, results-driven and autonomous in demanding environments.

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related technical field; postgraduate training in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
• 5–7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement, ideally within technical or industrial environments.
• Proven track record developing and managing international supplier relationships, including negotiation, performance evaluation and long-term partnership building.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and translate them into sourcing decisions.
