UL Company seeks a Senior Storage Advisory Expert to lead technical and commercial due diligence for storage, solar and hybrid renewables across EMEA, supporting financing, M&A and investment decisions.

You will integrate input from engineering, financial and environmental teams to deliver high-quality advisory reports, mentor colleagues, and engage directly with clients, lenders and developers to shape risk assessments and bankability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years in energy storage in a advisory, developer, or lender environment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong understanding of project finance concepts, risk and bankability.
• Proven client-facing delivery experience with senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with European energy storage regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent English; additional local language a plus.

Responsabilidades

In this role you will lead technical and commercial due diligence for storage, solar, and hybrid renewables projects across EMEA, supporting financing, M&A and investment decisions. You’ll integrate input from engineering, financial and environmental teams to deliver high-quality advisory reports and mentor colleagues. You will engage directly with clients, lenders and developers, shaping risk assessments and bankability considerations while contributing to regional growth in Renewables Advisory.

• Lead and deliver complex due diligence across storage, solar & storage and hybrid portfolios
• Review contracts, financial models and technical documentation for financing and transactions
• Prepare tailored proposals aligned with client needs
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as primary project contact
• Mentor junior staff and support regional team growth
• Contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and templates
• Travel up to 15% for client meetings and industry events
• Collaborate with Project Managers to align scope, timeline, and budget
• Engage with lenders and developers, presenting technical results and addressing comments
• Support business development and knowledge sharing across the organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years in energy storage in a advisory, developer, or lender environment
