Vèringer Engineering in Spain is seeking a Senior Static Equipment Engineer to lead challenging projects in power generation. You will design, specify and procure static equipment, including tanks and vessels, and support procurement and commissioning through the full project lifecycle.

The role requires 15 years in static equipment and hands-on experience with Combined Cycle, Thermal Power Plants, and PMC/PMT oversight.

Formación

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Static Equipment Engineering.
• Proven experience in Power Generation projects (Combined Cycle, Thermal, Waste-to-Energy, Biomass or similar).
• Experience with autonomous work and leadership on service projects (pre-FEEDs, FEEDs, or PMC/PMT supervising other contractors).
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, EN, etc.).
• Experience with storage tanks design codes (API 650/ API 620/ API 625/ API 2000, ASME V, IX, EN 14015, EN 14620, EN 1473, EN ISO 15607/15609/15614, Eurocodes 0-9).
• Experience with PV Elite, Compress, AMETANK software.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review equipment specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables.
• Perform design, specification, and procurement activities for static equipment (storage tanks, pressure vessels, drums, and related equipment).
• Prepare technical requisitions and inquiry documentation for procurement.
• Review vendor quotations and prepare technical bid evaluations.
• Support procurement teams in technical and commercial evaluations.
• Prepare technical documentation for purchase orders.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, coordinating with other disciplines.
• Provide technical support during expediting, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Interface with clients, licensors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering support to project management and project engineering teams.
• Attend internal reviews and inter-discipline reviews (P&IDs and 3D Model reviews).
• Work in multicultural and international project environments.

We are currently looking for a Static Senior Equipment Engineer to join a major international energy project.

This position is aimed at professionals with solid experience in static equipment engineering, supporting the development of complex industrial projects through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection and commissioning phases.

Madrid or Bilbao, Spain

Work Modality:

Hybrid work model – 2 days remote per week

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review equipment specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables.
• Perform the design, specification, and procurement activities for static equipment, including storage tanks, pressure vessels, drums, and other related equipment.
• Prepare technical requisitions and inquiry documentation for equipment procurement.

• Review, comment, and approve vendor drawings and documentation, coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical support during expediting, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Interface with clients, licensors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering support to project management and project engineering teams.
• Attend internal review activities and participate in inter-discipline review meetings, including P&IDs and 3D Model reviews.

Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Static Equipment Engineering.
• Proven experience in Power Generation projects, including: Combined Cycle, Thermal Power Plants, Waste-to-Energy, Biomass, Or similar projects.
• The candidate must demonstrate experience in autonomous work and have worked on service projects such as pre-FEEDs, FEEDs, etc., and/or have assumed the role of PMC/PMT supervising the work of another contractor.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards, including ASME, API, EN, etc.
• Candidates shall be fully conversant with international design codes for storage tanks: API 650, API 620, API 625, API 2000, ASME V, ASME IX, EN 14015, EN 14620, EN 1473, EN ISO 15607, EN ISO 15609, EN ISO 15614, Eurocodes 0 to 9.
• Experience with industry-standard software is required, including: PV Elite, Compress, AMETANK
• English level B2 or higher.

Highly Valued:

• Knowledge of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) and composite storage tanks will be highly valued, including experience in the design, fabrication, and inspection of this type of equipment.
