ERNI Europe, Spain (Catalonia) is seeking a senior engineer to join a cloud-based Data & Analytics Platform, applying AWS, Python, SQL and Java to build and operate enterprise software in distributed architectures.

You’ll work with product owners and stakeholders in Agile teams, receive strong onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing career development, with a hybrid model requiring 2 office days per week and generous certifications and health benefits.

Formación

Can you turn complex challenges into valuable cloud software for a Data & Analytics Platform?

Join our expert team to work on a cloud-based Data & Analytics Platform, contributing to the development and evolution of enterprise software solutions. You will apply your knowledge of AWS and Python, alongside SQL and Java, to build and operate software using modern distributed architectures.

What you will bring

• More than 4 years of experience building, operating and evolving enterprise software solutions in complex environments as part of a team, with a strong software engineering background and hands-on development experience.
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services and administration, advanced programming skills in Python, SQL and Java, and openness to coding in any language.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven and distributed architectures, together with knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, software quality and AI-assisted software development.
• A proactive, hands-on and results-oriented approach with strong ownership, accountability, business orientation and communication skills. Fluency in English and experience collaborating with Product Owners and business stakeholders in Agile product teams are essential.
• Experience designing scalable, secure and maintainable platforms is desirable, as is knowledge of Snowflake, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, data modelling, analytics platforms, microservices and integration patterns. A data engineering background with dbt, Airflow, AWS Glue, serverless services and ELT/ETL pipelines is also valued.

You will be responsible for building, operating and evolving software within a cloud-based Data & Analytics Platform team. You will take ownership of outcomes and turn ideas into delivered value while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, Product Owners and business stakeholders. You will navigate ambiguity and changing priorities, share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvements in products, processes and engineering practices

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
