Mozilla Corporation en Madrid busca un Ingeniero de Software Senior para contribuir al desarrollo y mejoras de Firefox, enfocándose en instalaciones, actualizaciones e integraciones con sistemas operativos. Se trabajará de forma independiente en proyectos, colaborando con compañeros para entregar software de alta calidad.

Se requieren 3–5 años de experiencia en ingeniería de software, sólidos conocimientos en C/C++, y se valora Rust.

Formación

• Experiencia de 3–5 años como ingeniero de software.
• Conocimientos sólidos de programación en C/C++.
• Valorable conocimiento de Rust.
• Experiencia trabajando con APIs de Windows y/o macOS a bajo nivel.
• Contribuciones a proyectos open source.

Responsabilidades

• Contribuir al desarrollo y mejora de características de Firefox relacionadas con instalaciones, actualizaciones e integraciones con el sistema operativo.
• Implementar mejoras de la experiencia de instalación y actualización utilizando datos para guiar el desarrollo.
• Resolver desafíos multiplataforma en integración a bajo nivel en Windows y/o macOS.
• Tomar propiedad de bugs complejos y liderar esfuerzos para mejorar la experiencia de Firefox para millones de usuarios.

As part of the Desktop Integrations team, you will be responsible for all things related to OS integration (particularly Windows and macOS) and helping us grow our user base. We contribute to the code driving the Firefox browser on a number of desktop platforms.A Senior Software Engineer contributes to architectural discussions, and driving feature development within a team.
