Job summary

Syntegon Technology GmbH in Terrassa, Spain, seeks a Senior SOC Analyst to lead detection, triage, investigation, and response to complex security threats. You will mentor junior analysts and improve SOC processes while maturing detection and response capabilities.

You will drive end-to-end incident response and produce thorough reports with root cause analysis, supporting stakeholders and compliance requirements across IT, Cloud, Identity, and business units.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/IR.
• Deep understanding of incident response lifecycle.
• Knowledge of attacker TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong analytical skills across endpoints, networks, identities, cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead triage, investigation, and escalation of complex security alerts across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and apps.
• Drive end-to-end incident response for significant events with root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Conduct proactive threat hunts based on intel and adversary TTPs.
• Leverage SOAR to execute automated response workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Develop and maintain IR playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Coach Tier 1-2 analysts and support training and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure incident handling aligns with compliance and audit documentation.
