Cabify is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Madrid to strengthen our infrastructure and platform reliability. You will work across engineering teams to improve scalability, observability, and latency while implementing best production practices.

The role blends systems engineering with software development, focusing on self-service infrastructure and incident prevention. This is an onsite position with an international team and a strong emphasis on reliability culture.

Formación

• Must understand Unix and networking, OSI model, containers, monitoring/logging basics.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language; able to learn more as needed.
• Automate repetitive tasks; operate with clear async communication.
• Comfortable working in an international team using English.

Responsabilidades

• Evolve the infrastructure platform with self-service components used by engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product and Infrastructure to design world-class components.
• Build tooling to improve availability, scalability, observability, and latency of services.
• Promote reliability practices and review observability implementations and architectures.
• Define SLIs, SLOs and SLAs for services; share on-call duties for platform services.
• Automate problem solving and prevent incidents with runbooks and scripts.
• Participate in recruitment to grow the engineering team.
