IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, seeks a Senior Scientist I in Delivery Systems R&D in Benicarló, Spain. You will lead strategic programs for next-generation fragrance delivery technologies and translate discoveries into scalable, manufacturable solutions.
You have a strong scientific foundation, proven leadership of cross-functional teams, and a track record mentoring junior scientists while advancing safety, quality, and regulatory
Formación
- PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or closely related field, or MSc with substantial industrial experience.
- Proven ability to lead technical workstreams within a defined technical area with limited supervision.
- Strong cross-functional coordination and ability to communicate complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to safety, documentation quality, and compliance.
Responsabilidades
- Lead technical programs focused on fragrance delivery, encapsulation, controlled release, formulation, and related technologies.
- Develop experimental strategies, design and interpret data, and communicate conclusions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support scale-up, manufacturing readiness, and commercialization with Process R&D, Operations, and Quality teams.
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to external technology scouting and patent-support materials.
