Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. is seeking a seasoned SCADA Expert – Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site SCADA commissioning for HVDC projects and complex substations.

You will coordinate testing, support handover and trial operation, and engage with customers to ensure successful deployment of control and protection systems. The role demands at least 5 years in HVDC or AC substation commissioning, strong English communication, and collaboration with an international team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in SCADA testing and IED testing.
• Experience in AC substation commissioning; HVDC experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and execute SCADA commissioning activities at customer sites.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and consultants.
• Prepare commissioning test plans and drive customer discussions before/during commissioning.
• Witness FATs and perform SCADA system commissioning or lead others to do so.
• Participate in Factory System Testing (FST) and stay aligned with scope and delivery.
