Job summary

Vortech PCI Group in Madrid is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to lead SAP SD and LE initiatives within a long-term international retail service. You will translate business needs into SAP solutions and own the process from requirements through go-live.

You will work with international stakeholders, manage end-to-end configurations, testing, and deployment, and ensure tight integration with finance and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Senior SAP SD expert with 5+ years in the role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP LE and its relation to SD processes.
• Hands-on SAP implementation project experience.
• Fluent business English (C1) and ability to engage international stakeholders.
• Ability to gather requirements, design, configure, test, and deploy SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

This position is part of a long-term international service for a global company in the retail sector.

The role combines strong functional expertise in SAP SD and SAP LE with Business Analyst responsibilities. You will work directly with international business stakeholders, translating business needs into viable SAP solutions and taking functional ownership from requirements definition through implementation, testing, and go-live.

The position requires solid knowledge of sales and logistics execution processes and the ability to understand their integration with other SAP and business areas.

Responsibilities

• Meet with international business stakeholders to understand business needs and propose suitable SAP implementation options.
• Define, document, and obtain approval for functional requirements and process designs.
• Analyse sales and logistics execution processes and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
• Design and perform SAP SD functional configuration, including pricing procedures when required.
• Support SAP LE-related processes and their integration with SAP SD.
• Work with intercompany scenarios, mass data uploads through files or IDocs, and integrations with finance processes.
• Prepare and execute functional testing and support validation activities.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and testing progress.
• Coordinate with integration teams, web application teams, finance teams, and other technical and functional areas.
• Identify and resolve functional or project blockers, escalating them when necessary.
• Take end-to-end functional ownership of assigned initiatives, from requirements and design through configuration, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in SAP SD, with five or more years of experience as a usual reference.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP LE and its relationship with SAP SD processes.
• Hands-on experience in SAP implementation projects.
• Strong knowledge of sales processes, sales documents, data models, and SAP SD functional configuration.
• Practical experience with pricing procedures.
• Good understanding of logistics execution processes within the SAP environment.
• Understanding of the integration between sales processes and finance.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage requirements gathering, validation, functional design, configuration, testing, and coordination activities.
• Advanced business and technical English, equivalent in practice to C1 level.
• Ability to lead meetings, discuss requirements, and explain SAP processes and functional designs in English.
• Availability to work from the Madrid office six days per month, according to the team calendar.
