Job summary

Westernacher Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Architect to own end-to-end solution designs and drive transformations across projects in international environments. You will collaborate with clients and project teams to translate business needs into robust SAP solutions, guiding architecture decisions and mentoring teams.

The role requires strong cross‑module expertise and a track record in SAP transformations, with a focus on finance, controlling, and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9–10+ years of SAP FI/CO experience.
• Proven track record leading complex SAP transformation projects.
• Functional and/or technical proficiency with at least 4 full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Strong cross‑module expertise to design end‑to‑end logistics solutions.
• Strong config and solution design skills with holistic architectural mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including C‑level interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP FI/CO solution architecture design.
• Translate business strategies into scalable SAP designs.
• Own architecture decisions with adherence to standards and roadmap.
• Advise senior stakeholders and guide trade-offs.
• Lead and mentor consultants and developers across streams.

Job description

We are looking for an SAP FI/CO Solution Architect to join our consulting team in Spain. In this role, you will shape end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions and help customers translate complex transformation goals into scalable, integrated architectures.

You will combine proven SAP Finance expertise with strategic advisory, solution leadership, and close collaboration across international project teams.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead the design of end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FI/CO architectures across complex transformation programs
• Translate business strategies and finance transformation goals into scalable, integrated SAP solutions
• Guide architecture decisions and advise senior stakeholders on solution options, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Ensure alignment between SAP FI/CO and relevant cross-functional processes, applications, and integration points
• Lead and mentor consultants and developers, supporting solution quality and consistency across project workstreams
• Contribute to pre-sales activities through solution design, estimates, proposals, and customer presentations
  
  

Your Expertise

• 9+ years of relevant SAP experience, with a strong focus on SAP FI/CO solution architecture
• Proven experience leading complex SAP transformation projects, including at least four full-cycle implementations
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, including SAP FI and CO, configuration, solution design, and integration with other SAP modules
• Broad cross-functional understanding and the ability to design robust end-to-end finance processes
• Experience advising senior stakeholders and communicating complex solution decisions clearly
• Excellent consulting, presentation, and facilitation skills in English and Spanish
• Willingness to travel according to project requirements
