EPAM Systems in Madrid is seeking a Senior SAP BW/4HANA specialist to redesign the finance landscape for a global wealth management client, hybrid work. You will help build a robust data and reporting infrastructure and co-create MIS and FDS with international CFO stakeholders.

The role requires 4+ years of SAP BW/4HANA design/implementation, ABAP AMDPs, CDS/HANA calculation views, and a strong finance data model background.

Formación

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, banking, finance, informatics, data science, or related field.
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience in SAP BW/4HANA solution design and implementation.
• Modeling BW/4HANA objects such as ADSOs, transformations, and composite providers.
• Experience developing AMDPs and CDS views.
• Knowledge in creating SAP HANA calculation views (including SQL-based logic).
• Ability to manage end-to-end development lifecycle with unit testing, integration, and documentation.
• Strong Finance Data Models understanding in the banking sector.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities; collaborative approach.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

We're looking for a Senior SAP BW/4HANA specialist to join our team in Madrid, Spain in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will play a key part in redesigning the finance system landscape for a leading global wealth management organization, helping to build a robust and efficient data and reporting infrastructure.

You will co-create and further develop the Management Information System (MIS) and Financial Data Store (FDS) in close collaboration with international stakeholders from CFO units. This position combines deep technical expertise in SAP BW/4HANA with strong business acumen, enabling you to shape the analytical backbone that supports a next-generation Finance function at our client.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the redesign of Julius Baer’s finance landscape using SAP BW/4HANA
• Apply deep understanding of requirements across multiple workstreams and translate them into actionable work packages
• Drive the implementation of development packages and contribute to hands-on development when needed
• Analyze and optimize existing data and reporting flows to improve efficiency and data quality
• Ensure adherence to development best practices, including documentation and testing throughout the lifecycle
• Collaborate with CFO teams and technical experts to define high-performance, future-ready financial processes

Requirements

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, banking, finance, informatics, data science, or related field
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience in SAP BW/4HANA solution design and implementation
• Proficiency in modeling BW/4HANA objects such as ADSOs, transformations, and composite providers
• Experience developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) and Core Data Services (CDS) views
• Knowledge in creating SAP HANA calculation views (including SQL-based logic)
• Ability to manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration, and documentation
• Solid understanding of Finance Data Models in the banking sector
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a confident, collaborative approach
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment

Nice to have

• Experience in wealth management/banking industry
• Familiarity with SAP FSDM (Financial Services Data Model)
• Exposure to SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management)
