Job summary

Siegfried, a rapidly expanding global CDMO, seeks a Senior Manager of Business Applications (SAP Reporting/Analytics) to join our Barberà del Vallès site near Barcelona. You will own and improve SAP BW/4HANA and SAP BW 7.5 reporting across business areas, translating requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, engineering, BIS or equivalent practical experience.
• Senior-level experience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW 7.5, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA and R/3 projects across different business areas.
• Strong SAP BW development skills: ABAP, AMDP, SQL, transformations, extractors, data modelling.
• Good understanding of business processes, data flows, and reporting requirements.
• Ability to analyse and reverse-engineer existing SAP solutions.
• Strong documentation skills (blueprints, specs, data flow docs).
• Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, or S/4HANA rollouts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, and continuously improve SAP BW/4HANA and SAP BW 7.5 reporting and analytics solutions across business areas and sites.
• Translate business, regulatory, and technical requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Lead and support end-to-end analytics related SAP projects across domains.
• Design, develop, and optimize BW solutions using ABAP, AMDP, SQL, transformations, extractors, and data modelling.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation (blueprints, specs, data flow descriptions).
• Ensure traceability from requirements to design, implementation, testing, and handover.
• Support change, incident, and lifecycle management for stable, auditable operations.
• Contribute to SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and S/4HANA modernization initiatives.
• Manage external consultants and share knowledge within the team.
