The Cigna Group in Madrid is seeking a Senior RPG Application Developer to lead RPG-based applications from conception through implementation within our Technology team. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in RPG IV and ILE, strong analytical skills, and a track record delivering software across the full lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Strong design and analytical skills with experience in software change management.
• Experience leading RPG-based applications across full lifecycle.
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent initiatives and communicate effectively.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG IV, RPG Free, CL, SQL, and IBM i technologies.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in planning, design, and execution of projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and service records.
• Stay current with technology advancements and software development best practices.
