Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a Rotating Equipment Senior Engineer in Bilbao with 15+ years of proven experience in rotating machinery for power plants. You will develop and follow technical specs for turbines, compressors and pumps, ensuring QA/QC/HSE compliance.

Responsibilities include bid support, technical documentation, vendor evaluations, and interface with disciplines across the project lifecycle. A strong background in ASME/ISO/API standards is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• At least 15 years of demonstrable experience in rotating equipment for power plants.
• Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment (gas/steam turbines, compressors, pumps).

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support during bidding phase.
• Review technical tender documentation.
• Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry.
• Review and evaluate machinery bids from Vendors.
• Support Lead in cost evaluation for machinery and related equipment.
• Define engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines.
• Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (specs, data sheets).
• Negotiate technically with vendors and supervise subcontracted documents.
• Prepare technical tabulations/evaluations for equipment offers.
• After order award, follow-up engineering activities for equipment/packages.
• Review, mark-up, and finalize vendor drawings; interface with processes/discipline.
• Attend internal reviews; participate in cross-discipline meetings.
• Assist engineering activities (utilities, layouts, 3D, routings).
• Support expediting/testing activities; document management and final certification.
• Collaborate with Project functions including Procurement/Construction.
• Help define equipment construction inspection plans and weights/dimensions.
• Develop technology know-how.
