Job summary

Tecnicas Reunidas in Madrid searches for a Senior Package Unit Engineer to join its Power Plant Engineering team. You will develop activities to specify, select and follow up Solids Handling and Package Unit equipment, ensuring the compliance with technical, QA/QC and HSE requirements.

You will review project specifications and technical requirements, prepare documentation for inquiry and purchase, evaluate vendor offers, and support procurement with cost analysis.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of solids handling equipment and package units.
• Experience in reviewing specifications, design, calculation, and technical evaluation of offers.
• Experience in leading or supervising projects or contractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop activities to specify, select and follow up Solids Handling and Package Unit equipment, ensuring compliance with technical, QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Review project specifications and technical requirements.
• Prepare Solids Handling Equipment and Package Units technical documentation for inquiry and purchase.
• Review vendor offers and prepare technical evaluations.
• Support procurement in defining cost evaluation for equipment.
• Coordinate and assist other disciplines and participate in inter-discipline reviews (HAZOP, P&IDs, 3D Model).
• Provide support for expediting and testing activities and client meetings.
