Job summary

Novartis Farmacéutica, S.A. in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking an experienced ResearchOps Associate Director to scale user research operations by establishing processes, governance, tools, and repositories. You will drive high quality research delivery and compliance.

You will lead recruitment governance, knowledge management, and platform ecosystem, with hybrid working options and a base salary range of €57,900 to €107,500 plus potential bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in Research Operations, UX Research, Design Operations, or similar leadership roles.
• Strong end-to-end research lifecycle knowledge: planning, recruitment, data collection, analysis, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize the ResearchOps operating model and workflows.
• Scale participant management: recruitment, screening, scheduling and incentives.
• Own governance, ethics, privacy, and data handling frameworks.
• Develop and manage knowledge repositories for insights access enterprise-wide.
• Lead research tools, licensing, onboarding, vendor management and optimization.
• Drive enablement programs: onboarding, training, playbooks, templates, coaching.
• Measure ResearchOps effectiveness: metrics, impact, adoption, continuous improvement.
• Champion AI-enabled research operations with responsible automation and governance.
