Michael Page is seeking a senior researcher to lead I&L and Data Centers coverage in Spain, with a strong strategic focus and an AI-skills element. This leadership role shapes analytical output, sets the sector view, and interfaces with a European and global Research network.

You will work with peers across Europe and globally, employing evolving technology to build new research models and products, and to articulate the market view to clients and business lines.

We are looking for a senior researcher to lead I&L and Data Centers coverage, with a strong strategic focus and a high AI-skills component. This is a leadership role: you set the analytical agenda, shape the sector narrative, and turn data into the differentiated, forward-looking output that positions the company in the market. You will work in constant contact with peers across the European and global Research network, sharing methods and calibrating the view.
Technology sits at the core of the job. Beyond automating the most tedious data tasks, you will use evolving technology, including AI, to build new research models and products we could not create before. You will help set the standard for how Research works in the AI era.
Responsibilities

• Lead research and analysis for I&L and Data Centers: supply, demand, transactions, key investors, and sector dynamics across Spain, with a European and global read.
• Identify emerging trends early, ahead of the market, and translate them into a clear investment and occupier view.
• Develop new research models and products using evolving technology, including AI, to answer questions we could not address before, not only to automate what we already do.
• Automate recurring data tasks (closings, micro-data, quarterly updates) in partnership with the data managers and local Data & Technology (D&T) teams, freeing the team for higher-value analysis.
• Be genuinely client-facing: engage directly with clients, understand their questions, and turn the sector view into advice they can act on, alongside Client Solutions and the business lines.
• Set the content agenda for your sectors, aligned with the local business plan and tested against EMEA and Global Research.
• Produce high-impact reports, snapshots, and articles, and present to clients and to business lines.
• Be the public voice of the market for your sectors: lead the sector's trends events, speak at industry and client forums, and represent company´s view externally.
• Work in close, regular contact with Research peers across Europe and globally, sharing methods, benchmarking data, and aligning the market view.
• Act as a reference point for I&L and Data Centers across Spain, working with Capital Markets, Agency, Valuation, and the European Research team.
• Mentor junior researchers and help embed a shared AI-skills baseline across the team.
