Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel based in Spain to advise on cryptoasset projects and financial features, partnering with Product, Compliance and Regulatory teams to move fast while staying compliant.

You will handle structuring, drafting customer-facing documents, and coordinating with local regulators to meet evolving regimes such as MiCA, PSD2 and MiFID. Strong PQE and leadership are essential to drive risk-aware growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PQE
• Experience advising on cryptoassets, either in-house or at a law firm
• Knowledge of financial legislation and supervisory frameworks (FSMA, MiFID)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Advising the business on compliance and legal issues related to structuring new cryptoassets and financial features
• Drafting customer-facing legal documents for these products
• Managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
• Collaborating with Product and Commercial teams to design and deliver solutions
• Ensuring compliance with financial services regulations, including upcoming regimes (MiCA, PSD2, MiFID)
• Expanding product offerings in line with regulatory requirements
• Engaging proactively with local regulators
