Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Spain is seeking a QA Chapter Lead to blend hands‑on testing with QA strategy, automation, tooling, and testing practices across the engineering function.

You’ll be embedded in one squad while shaping quality standards, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done across multiple teams, driving CI quality gates and test pyramids. This fully remote, international role offers strong technical ownership without people management responsibilities and exposure to fintech‑grade

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software QA with leadership experience across multiple teams.
• Proven ability to define and maintain QA standards in Agile environments.
• Experience embedding QA throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Embed within one squad and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Define acceptance criteria with Product Owners before sprints.
• Design and maintain automated test suites across unit to end-to-end levels.
• Own the Definition of Done quality gate for releases.
• Lead a monthly QA Guild to align QA standards across engineering.
• Advise on QA automation frameworks and tooling.
• Monitor QA health metrics and report risks.
